Role Overview

We are now looking for a Launch Development Director who will be a part of the Product Launch initiative in DICE Operations. A Launch Development Director is responsible for the planning of time, resources and progress together with the other launch leads in the effort of releasing DICE games to the market. The Launch Development Director is responsible for driving and improving the process and delivery and has the authority to drive decision making in this area, i.e., make sure decisions are made in a timely fashion by the right stakeholders so that progress is maintained.

The Product launch effort is a team that focus on aligning all involved teams and stakeholders to prepare and secure the player experience for the release of new DICE games and content updates. The Launch Development Director is part of the leadership team and plays a big part in delivery and continuous improvements.

What skills does DICE look for?

The specific areas of responsibility and authority shall be agreed upon per project basis with the Day-to-Day Manager. The Launch Development Director shall always know and be able to visualize and explain the status of their area.

- Identify delivery risks and mitigation plans
- Align all involved teams towards the common goal

- Drive and implement effective use of current processes, e.g. Scrum, Kanban or other [domain specific] processes
- Identify and act on opportunities for drive process innovation and improvement, e.g. through retrospectives
- Document and share learnings, e.g. in team, with other DD's or stakeholders

Communication and Collaboration
- Ensure the teams have all the necessary information to do their job
- Maintain an environment that promotes and encourages collaboration
- Communicate with project stakeholders, e.g. required reporting and expectation management
- Communicate with external parties, e.g. outsourcing, GOS, (WW) QA, etc.

Execution
- Present options and drive the decision making process

General Information
