Senior Systems Specialist to NYX Interactive

We are looking for a Systems Specialist to our operations team. As a Systems Specialist you are part of the team that operates NYX Interactive’s platforms. You will provide support and services both internally and to external customers and work with maintenance, patching and backup of existing systems. The focus will be on problem solving in production and test systems, both in terms of infrastructure as well as NYX applications. In addition to this you will install NYX applications and systems applications in customer´s production and test environments. The team is also responsible for running the company's internal production system.

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in the operation of business-critical systems. You may have a college education in a relevant field, but the key is that you have the required skills. We see that you have good knowledge of either Windows Server or Linux/Unix- environments. You enjoy troubleshooting at multiple levels; in web client, on web servers, network-level, the application layer and the SQL level. You are used to work proactively by monitoring and scripting.

As a person you like problem solving and to immerse yourself in applications and system logs. You enjoy learning new tools and environments and take on tasks independently and with accuracy. Since NYX Interactive is an international company, it is important that you can express yourself in English, both spoken and written.

Your profile
• At least five years’ experience in managing large business-critical systems
• Good knowledge of Unix/ Linux or Windows Server 2008/2012
• Knowledge of SQL server
• Knowledge of scripting
• Knowledge of networks
