Engineering Manager

Engineering
The Engineering organization is responsible for building platforms that our customers love in tight collaboration with product management. Currently there are 12 teams spread across Sweden, Russia and Malaysia.

Who are you?

We are now looking for two engineering managers for Northern EU. You will be based in Stockholm and have direct reports in Stockholm and Gothenburg. You get excited about getting your employees to fire on all cylinders in terms of engagement and growth and you get a satisfaction from removing any impediment that could interfere with their progression. You have some leadership experience and you are curious about developing these skills further. You have great interpersonal skills and you do not shy away from having difficult conversations.

As an engineering manager you will

• Coach your employees and ensure that they all have individual growth plans that are aligned with their passions and our direction as a company
• Set performance objectives and conduct performance reviews
• Conduct regular 1:2:1s as well as discussing &frankly results to ensure great work satisfaction
• Do work force planning and ensure we have the needed competences available by recruiting new people as well as to develop our current
• Do administrative tasks such as time reporting and salary setting etc.
• Remove any impediment that stop your employees from performing
• Have 15 people reporting to you, that contains testers, developers, Ux designer, scrum masters

We believe that you

• Have a background in Development or equivalent so you understand the challenges your employees face
• Have experience working with UX designers and design driven development
• Have worked with teams that work with XaaS products
• Have some leadership experience and is hungry for more
• Have great interpersonal and communication skills
• Get a kick out of growing people and boosting employee spirit
• Do not back away from taking uncomfortable conversations
