About the job Intranet team is a part of the Web value stream in Swedbank's Digital Banking. Today we are a small team and we continue to grow further because we have ambitious plans ahead. Our team is mainly responsible for SharePoint collaboration sites and portals, both maintenance and development. But we also have few stand-alone platforms that need care and that is where you come in. We enjoy a creative, fun and flexible working environment with an open attitude to contribution.
Firstly, we are about to finish up application migration to the new environment. We want you to have a steady hand and a sharp eye on everything that is going on and keep that house in order.
Long term, we would like to hear some novel life-cycling ideas as we feel those applications and the whole platform can be decommissioned and have a brighter future on a more modern solution.
What you need to succeed As a Software Engineer, we expect you to have a huge will to learn new things as well be good in communication and collaboration, also fluent in English. You know how to manage applications server WebSphere and you also have:
Experience with Linux (or similar OS);
Experience with SQL and Java;
Extra points for the knowledge of Spring, JavaScript, HTML/XML, CSS, SOAP.
Last but not least - a sense of humor asides hard work.
