Operations Engineer at ATG

At ATG, we take an innovative and responsible approach to make betting on horse racing exciting, entertaining and accessible. We are currently looking for an Operations Engineer with a solid background in development, to join our operations team.

As an Operations Engineer you will be an essential part of an evolving team tasked with ensuring that our services are managed in a reliable, repeatable and automated way. The operations team at ATG is starting a process to move infrastructure and supporting tools into code and to introduce automation where possible. This is where your developer background is wanted.

We want you to provide leadership and best-practices on topics such as packaging, distribution, deployment and automation. Experience from productive DevOps environments is a huge plus. Likewise, if you have experience with similar transformations procedures, that's even better.

• Linux (preferably Red-Hat family)
• VMware
• Automation tools (such as Puppet/Ansible/ Chef)
• Programing language (such as Python/Golang)

Valued experience

• Container technologies (such as Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• Packaging (Linux/RPM/deb)
• CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub)
• AWS
