Offerings comprise a broad range of solutions to address the most critical needs of utility and power companies.Your responsibilities We are looking for three Software Developers to join our Scrum team.In this role you will work with all stages of software development in an agile process, from requirement to final product.This includes architecture, requirement breakdown and unit testing.Your will work with new development using modern technologies and changes in architecture for a future platform.We expect you to be able to analyze and understand customer requirements, input from product management and other stakeholders, and based on this define the best solution in close collaboration with the software architects.You will provide the design approach and your tasks will also include development of unit tests and writing documentation.You will need to keep up to date with new technologies and architecture principles and apply them to our products.The positions are located in Västerås.You will live ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your background To succeed in the role, you should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar.As we are looking for three Software Developers, we expect you to have one of the following profiles: 1) Proficiency in C#, C++ and Windows 2) Proficiency in C, C++ and Linux 3) Extensive experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.Since you will be working in a global, multicultural environment, we expect you to be fluent in written and spoken English.On the personal level, you are driven, structured and analytical with high sense of responsibility and commitment.
