We are looking for a data implementation lead to make sure our user behaviour data is reaching our data consumer tools for all of our platforms - web, iOS and Android. Bridging the gap between product and tech, and creating an understanding for how the developers should output the data in terms of event format and parameters are important tasks on your desk.

Who will you be working with?
You will belong to the Search & Data team, under the tech organisation, and we care for the internal search experience, frontend data collection and backend data transferral. Much of your time will be spent on evangelising tracking and its structure to the developers, while at the same time understanding how it will be used further down the line by the Insights department. This team is your sibling in the product organisation and if you are keen on discussing KPIs, predictive data modelling, advanced channel attribution or other data-esque subjects, they will gladly dive into the conversation. If instead you are curious how the marketing efforts are performing, just stroll over to the marketing department for a user focused discussion, they will soon be your sparring partner on the marketing side.
Since you will pretty much be (warning: recruitment cliché) the spider in the web of many projects, it is important that you are communicative and able to discuss technical details both with your peers and with colleagues working in other fields.
When it comes to user behaviour data on the web, we use Google Analytics (360) for quick product analysing and Schibsted’s own tracking system Pulse for raw data analysing, both collected via Google tag manager, and yes, these will be your darlings to care for. Did we mention the web consists of a few single page applications, made in React / Redux, with all its exciting tracking challenges?
When it comes to app tracking, we are changing over from AT Internet (XiTi) to Firebase Analytics, and your experience and guidance in this area will be much appreciated moving forward.
