Systems Engineer for Integration Services

Integration Services, within Sandvik IT, has the global service responsibility for technical operations, solution design, development and maintenance for several different integration technologies, such as WebSphere MQ, Biztalk, Java and internally developed solutions. To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a Systems Engineer for WebSphere MQ, to be based primarily in Sandviken.

Key performance areas
In this position as a Systems Engineer, you and your colleagues are primarily responsible for our WebSphere MQ service. Going forward, there will be an opportunity to expand into other Integration areas, depending on your own interests. Working in accordance with Sandvik IT processes and guidelines, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the technical platform; planning and designing integration solutions; and evaluating and implementing new engineering and functionality processes, in order to meet customer requirements and to support continuous improvement. Additionally, second and third line support is part of your responsibilities.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a relevant degree in IT and a genuine interest in technology, who understands the ways of working with IT in a global environment. You have a background within IT - and are skilled in Websphere MQ, Windows Server/Failover Clustering, z/OS, JCL or System i.Ideally, you are used to working with IT in a global setting and have good knowledge of Sandvik. Excellent communication skills in English are prerequisite, both verbally and in writing.
