About the position
You´ll work atSvea Billing, a business area within Svea.
Svea Billing offers the country's sharpest billing system for those who need event-related billing solutions. Their unique system for rating, provisioning, billing and CRM, gives the customer a superior flexibility while minimizing the risk of errors.
As F# developer, you will be a member of a small, agile development team consisting of six experienced, passionated and humble F# developers. The team is responslible for the entire development cycle, front-and backend development, architecture, test, build and release.
The team is responsible for the product Fenix, an advanced billing system, built in F # on top of Microsoft SQL Server. The system primary manages pricing of various forms of ongoing contracts - focusing on telephony subscriptions and pricing of telephone traffic. The system processing large data volumes of millions of transactions per day.
In addition to the pure data processing services (data import, binding, mediation, rating, valuation, validation, etc.) the system consists of a web interface, external APIs (REST-based)
Tech: Microservices, F#, JavaScript, TypeScript, MS SQL Server, REST API, TFS, Git
Requirements
- F# experience(or other functional languages like Haskell, Erlang, Clojure or Scala)
- Understanding of various data structures and the complexity of different data structures, depending on different operations.
- SQL
- Knowledge in algorithms and their different complexities
- Interest in complex problem solving
- Mathematical abstractions. Understanding of, or interest in monads.
- M.Sc. in computer science or equivalent academic degree
