Java developer to Stockholm

The Whole is Greater than the Sum of its Parts. Nexus is an agile security company working with identity management and we are looking for a new Java star who wants to join our crusade against weak single factor authentication, unclear identifies and user unfriendly security solutions.

Have you always seen yourself working with a cool boss who´s driving a motorcycle to work? You’re in luck! Our (wannabe) rock-star colleague Claes are searching for a new Java developer to join one of our teams. All jokes a side, Claes is a very dedicated leader and a great developer and he and his team are looking forward to get to know a new member.

We are located at Telefonplan in the south of Stockholm, in bright offices with a lot of space.

What will you be doing at Nexus?
Nexus is undergoing a transition, the functionality we provide, that historicallywas onlydistributed as products for on-premise installation, is nowmade available as cloud-based services (SaaS). This means we are changing as well, and we would like you to come and help us with the changes. You will join our Nexus GO (https://doc.nexusgroup.com/display/PUB/Nexus+GO+Services) team, providing solutions regarding identification, for people and things in both the physical and the digital world.

If we should give you some exiting buzz words we are taking about IoT solutions, Serverless Architecture and a DevOps mindsets. If buzz words isn’t your cup of tea, let’s talk PKI (https://doc.nexusgroup.com/display/PUB/Nexus+GO+PKI+Cards+overview?preview=%2F15860339%2F15860340%2FPKI_Cards_Architecture_Overview.png) and continues deployment in a micro service environment. And let’s talk about us being a small team working closely with the product owner where you will have the opportunity to put your mark on the services we provide.

We have daily stand ups and sprint planning where you are expected to contribute. We promote MOB or pair programing and use a mindset where continues improvement is a guiding star and team work is essential. As stated above we are moving towards DevOps and the services are deployed in a microservice architecture, using Docker containers and Kubernetes. New and improved functionality gets deployed several times a week.

Who are you?
Java is what we use, so you really need to know your Java in this role. If you have worked within the IT security industry before that’s great. But we think that experiences from fintech, betting and other high stakes industries will be very beneficial as well.

This is mainly a backend position, but is very meritorious with full stack experience. Our teams are very skilled, but we aim to strengthen our frontend perspective.

Nexus is a global organization, and even though our fika language is Swedish you will manage good on English.

As we are a security company we will do a background check on our final candidate.
