We are currently seeking:
Exciting role for an experienced .NET Developer to a client based in Galway, Ireland.
If you have at least five years experience in an IT development environment, we can offer you a great opportunity to do really interesting work and develop a career in a dynamic and innovative environment. We prefer that you are a good communicator, experienced working close with project management on related activities for planning, scheduling and product release. We also assume that you have good social skills and is responsive and flexible. You also have experience training new and junior members in product development and methodologies. Preferably you come from a banking, payments or financial background.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- Leading multiple project components from a technical perspective and providing accurate development estimates
- Performing escalated production support for assigned systems
- Researching, evaluating and recommending new technology or development tools
- Analyzing, designing, developing and maintaining distributed enterprise applications
- Conducting unit and integration testing

Required Competencies:

- Minimum of 5 years experience working in an IT development environment.
- Very good knowledge in .NET, C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET
- Experience using proven software patterns (e.g MVC, MVVM)
- Must have experience developing unit tests
- Must have proven experience creating solid designs using OO techniques and documenting the same
- Good knowledge in designing and implementing complex high availability systems
- Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in IT studies or business administration is required.
