Embedded android developer

We are looking for a skilled Android embedded software engineer that wants to work within the following  areas of the Android Platform; Connectivity, User interaction, Security, Android Automotive app development, Climate control and other car functions.
You need to have good collaboration skills due to the implementation duties as well as being involved in architecture discussions. Your main focus will be on delivering software that is able to function well within the given requirements. This includes flexible, maintainable and extendable solutions to support the development.

As a software developer you will also handle the quality assurance by doing code reviews, introducing standards and engage in discussions about how to implement new and innovative ideas.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability; you are positive, outgoing and driven. You need to have the ability to act professionally as a consultant and understand the client’s goals and values.

Job/Skills
Skills needed to succeed in the position:
- Experience from working in the field of Android software development.
- Software development in the full vertical Android stack for the infotainment system
- Development using Java, C++ and the Android tool set
- Linux development toolchain (git, gerrit, etc.).
- Efficient SW test methods, including automated unit and integration testing.
- Object oriented design / Design patterns.
- Agile software development.
- M.Sc. in Electrical and/or Software Engineering or similar relevant experience.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Meritorious:
- Experience from working with Continuous Integration.
- Software development in the full vertical Android stack.
- Experience from Embedded Linux Development.
- Experience from working in an international environment.
- Software development in the full vertical Android stack.
- Experience from Embedded Linux Development.
- Driver’s license (B-level).
