What we are looking for We are looking for a software tool developer with an interest in the embedded area to join our team! We are responsible for developing tools, systems and check models for our self-diagnosing framework for vehicles. We are looking for someone who is passionate about programming and a curious continuous learner. You should be an experienced programmer even if you are in the beginning of your career. It’s important for us that you can plan and drive your own work.You come with a creative mind-set and can build smart solutions. With that said you’re experienced enough to understand that also the mundane stuff needs to be done. What we offer We offer a great challenge and possibility to impact how we develop software in the automotive industry. You will be paired up with a more experienced developer to support you in your new role. Over time your responsibilities will grow. A glimpse into our daily work Part of your daily work could contain: C# and/or C/C++, Jenkins, Subversion/GIT, Visual Studio, Unit Test (Google test) and/or state machine modelling. Your focus area will depend on your experience.We sit close together and support each other in the team. We interact daily with other developers and teams around us. We work in a global setting, but most of our daily contacts for our team are local. Experience needed Previous hands-on programming experience is a must to join our team.Embedded and/or automotive experience is a bonus, as well as interest in testing or data/test-driven development. Experience of working close to HW & HIL is a bonus for understanding the environment and the target product, for example our trucks.
