Our task is to develop and integrate world class systems to our patientpositioning/monitoring products for radio therapy. As a systems engineer, you will be part of thecomplete product lifecycle and have a key role within a highly skilled R&D team.In cooperation with others you will design new systems and contribute to the systemverification/validation as well as ensuring that quality standards are met throughdocumentation, reviews, risk analysis and testing.Your profileAreas to be addressed3D-scanner optical considerations, in terms of field of view, update rate andwavelengthsDedicated projector and camera hardware for the 3D-scannerElectrical power conditioning and distributionHigh speed digital communicationEMC considerationsCooling considerationsRadiation hardness (tolerance to radiation)Product documentation following medical product regulations and standardsResponsibilitiesCollaborate with software and hardware engineers, marketing department, and clinical application specialists in defining and documenting system design, operational scenarios and workflows.Establish and manage key technical performance indicators of the system.Identify, analyze and define requirements for a System Requirements Specification.Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to develop system test strategy and test methods, including trend analysis for failing parts prediction.Study and evaluate MR compatibility of an existing 3D scanner product.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relatedMedical domain degree and at least 3 years of design and development in a highly regulated industry, although experience in the medical device field is a plus.Knowledge of systems, hardware and software engineering processes for the development of complex systems including System and Software Architecture, System Analysis, System Integration and Test, and Requirements Management.
