Firmware Engineer 
 
As a Firmware Engineer you will be part of the team that develop SKFs condition monitoring products. Our products fit into SKFs digitalization platform and you will be involved in the whole product lifecycle – from design, implementation and production to commercial deployment and maintenance.

Your day-to-day work 
Design, implement and maintain firmware for embedded systems.
Contribute to and work with the overall firmware architecture alongside the team.
Collaborate with hardware engineers and software engineers to ensure firmware compatibility.
Adhere to, and improve the development team’s Way of Working process.
Travel may be required to support product development activities.

 
We expect you to have/be
University degree, preferable in computer science, electrical engineering or related field.
Experience working with development of embedded systems.
Solid programming experience in C and/or C++
Fluency in English

We see it as beneficial if you have at least 3-5 years of experience working with development of embedded systems, digital signal processing, electric measurement techniques and embedded Linux and Yocto. If you are accustomed to working in Agile development teams or other roles in Agile development teams, such as Scrum Master or Product Owner, then that’s a plus.

Location: Luleå, Sweden. Local contract in AB SKF.
