We are now looking for a Software Test Engineer!
 

Description

You will be part of the Chapter SW/Control System Test & Simulation, which is one of four competence teams within the SW Tribe. As a Software Test Engineer you will work in a team with simulation and test engineers that together develop MIL, SIL, HIL, sub-system and system test environments, develop and perform manual and automated tests in these environments as well in vehicles. The team is working closely together with other teams in different areas in a global organization.

We are looking for a creative and innovative engineer with verification and validation experience of software systems as Infotainment, Connectivity, Vehicle Body systems on Autosar or Linux platforms. You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful. 

We will ensure that you will have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges!

The role involves:

- Define and investigate what test environments to use to verify different SW functionality
- Configure and set up test rigs, MIL/SIL, Open Loop and Closed Loop HIL systems
- Develop test methods and test cases, including framework for test automation
- Execute test cases, analyze results and write test reports & issue reports
- Develop work processes and structures for test in test rigs and MIL/SIL/HIL environments

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Computer Science, Mechatronic or similar
- Experience of software testing in different type of test environments as for example MIL, SIL, OL/CL HIL, sub-system and system test environments
- Experience of Machine learning, Autosar, Linux, Ethernet, Functional Safety (ISO 2262)
- Experience of C/Python, Matlab/Simulink, Canoe, CAPL, NI TestStand or NI VeriStand
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license for vehicle
