Senior Backend Developer/ CTO

Now, imagine if you could have an automated matchmaking system that can match you to the most optimal supplier for the same products/services you buy and in real-time display how much you would gain by altering the supplier.
That’s Ebbel! We help people effortlessly optimize their everyday consumption choices. We do this by analyzing your actual spending data, and then automatically match you with alternative products and services that are better suited for you and your lifestyle. We have started off by matching people with their optimal credit card.
Who are we looking for? What would you do?
We are looking for a senior backend developer to join us as our CTO.
The first version of the product is released and we’ve tested it with 3000+ users successfully. But this version was developed by our tech consulting company in Ukraine and we would like to move our product development in-house. We want you to lead this transition.
Our current stack is in PHP and Vue.js but in this effort of moving the development in-house, we want to reconsider our stack. Since we want to design and architect a scalable and stable system that would have sophisticated machine learning and AI components, we’re tilting towards python in the backend. What do you think?
We want you to lead the discussions within our design, architecture and stack decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Be the product owner and lead the development of Ebbel.
Plan, design and execute the transition of our dev from outsourced partner to in-house.
Lead the product development for our next release.
Help us set the culture within our product team and support us in recruitments to build our team.

Requirements:
You’re a backend developer with strong experience in python or node.js.
You’re entrepreneurial and can lead product development in a fast-paced environment.
