Product Information Chief Architect to BSS ( 301888 )

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Chief Architect for Product Information (PI) who will be responsible for defining and realizing the next generation BSS product offerings product information from a technical content and PI structure point of view. Aim is to ensure the product information provides best user experience in terms of content availability, accuracy, right level, consistent, compliant to Ericsson PI and Brand corporate guidelines and Intelligent (situation-based content rendering using AI/ML that is multi device layout ready). Work also involves creating and managing a PI content and structure for the complete unit Business Support System (BSS) product portfolio offering use. We are looking for a niche competence to be part of our PI and Architecture expert team. In close cooperation with Product managers, Program Managers, System Managers, PI Information Architects, Technical writers, UX engineers, AI/ML data scientists/experts, Architects, Developers and Testers you will lead design of PI content release that is valuable, support users’ tasks and goals efficiently and effectively, that are easy and appealing to use.

Responsibilities:

Strategic work:

Interface with Strategic Product Management and Program management to influence and finalize the product Backlog items with prioritization; scope; technical anatomy; provide implementation estimation inputs
Creating a strategic direction for PI w.r.t changing business scenarios / use-cases
Lead Product Information Transformation (define and evolve PI Blueprint)
Content Modeling, automation, usable structure, with content that is accurate and at the right levelIntelligently available content possible using AI/ML
Connect with and utilize UX team skills (usability inputs, design of graphics, animation and multimedia content)
PI content availability on all device’s types and layouts
PI Tools and Methods (local and corporate)
Compliance to Brand
Aligned and efficient PI implementation
Enable one track-based PI deliveries for new BSS Product Strategy (multiple-offerings based on BSSF)

Operative work:

Responsible for employing best in class techniques / methods to improve Product documentation usability and usefulness
Creating superior experience for PI users both internal and customer
Keeping PI documentation in line with Ericsson corporate PI guidelines and recommendations
Securing right documentation structure w.r.t new/evolved offering features
Responsible for constantly gathering feedback from PI users (internal & external) to improve documentation
End responsible for documentation quality where actions are constantly driven to secure the same
Provide technical support & guidelines to PI Architect team in use case architecture studies
Empowers PI architects to take decisions and coach / support PI technical writers in use case architecture and implementation work
Final authority in taking any product PI related decisions in conjunction with overall product system Chief Architect
Single point of contact for any PI related technical decisions and escalations
 

Key Qualifications:

B.E. / B.Tech. from Tier 1/Tier 2 institutes in a relevant stream of Engineering
Between 5 years to 12 years of IT experience
Large scale product engineering and system architecting experience (preferably in BSS domain)
Experience of working in Agile SW development teams
Proven experience from innovating, adapting and responding to change
Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
Business understanding
 

Skillset:

Thorough understanding of system engineering, user experience and evolved content management systems
Establish and foster an evolving product information user experience culture and process
Possess problem solving skills and ability to be a forward thinker/visionary
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, in writing, complex ideas of requirements; ability to communicate with technical and non-technical individuals at all levels
Excellent analytical and written skills
