Job description

We are looking for a Software developer to Atlas Copco Industrial Technique. In this position, you will work with the latest technology in a multidisciplinary team. You will be involved in the development of Atlas Copco’s fully product range.

About the job

You will join one of our projects at the Total workstation team, creating SW products communicating with Atlas Copco´s advanced technical equipment. Together with your colleagues, and in close collaboration with our application centers, you will be involved in every step of the way – from initial idea to final product.

Together we participate in developing high quality products used by customers worldwide. We work in an agile environment, close to customers where new initiatives and possibilities constantly emerge. The Total Workstation team focus on many different technologies such as automation technique, indoor location and robot solutions.

My name is Stefan Olofsson and I am leading the Total Workstation Team at R&D. In our team, we are a mix between both junior and senior people, and what I am proud of in my team is that everyone has a strong drive to get things done and we always help each other.

What you need to succeed

We believe that you are a person that likes to keep up with the latest software technology and methods and wants to contribute to a long-lived software.

You have experience of mechatronics systems and from software development using C/C++ for embedded systems. It is considered a qualification if you have knowledge in indoor location technique, real time operating systems and have worked close to the hardware before.

As a person, you are entrepreneurial and a true team player with a “can-do” attitude, easy to interact with as well as eager to learn. You are self-organized, committed and customer focused.

Education

We are looking for someone with documented academic background within Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronic or other relevant area.
