The Chipset and Software Technology unit is part of the Standards & Technology organization within Business Area Networks. We are responsible for technology leadership and research in digital technology and software with focus on wireless systems. This is achieved through concept studies, system design, test beds, and driving technical innovation. We are now looking for a Researcher with a SW developer background and a profile towards open source environment and with an interest in system security to join the Chipset and Software Technology unit in Lund, Sweden.

Required Competence / Experience
M.Sc. degree within computer science or equivalent technical education on university level
Preferably at least 5 years’ experience within relevant technical area (or Ph.D)
Experience of working with Linux and other open source projects
Experienced programmer (Git, Python, bash, C++, …)
Containers (Kubernetes, Docker, ... )
Good communications skills and a relationship builder
Fluent in written and spoken English.

Position Qualifications
You are confident in solving complex technical questions across organizations as part of a small team. Your contributions span from early feasibility all the way to implementation, trying out new concepts and ideas, spanning from standalone parts up to complete end to end solutions. You are analytical, structural and result oriented. You will find creative solutions and know how to resolve problems when lacking information and act outside your formal area of responsibility when needed.
Experience of cloud development with containers and container management, hypervisors, virtualization and networks are meritorious. As a person you should be self-motivated, positive, and outgoing, a team player with strong analytical skills. You should also have the ability to motivate, coordinate and coach others to success.
