As a Software Engineer at EADP, you will be responsible for building tools and technologies in support of DICE’s back-end software development, quality assurance and software processes. Working closely with the DICE Online game team, you will focus on improving the performance of DICE’s large-scale back-end infrastructure including the game servers used for titles such as Star Wars Battlefront 2 or Battlefield V.

SCOPE & IMPACT:
Model game client scenarios and develop realistic automated simulations.
Develop tools and technologies to support highly reliable test environments.
Understand and follow standard software engineering processes and best practices for requirements, design, implementation and testing.
Be part of the exciting process of building AAA games in world-renowned franchises.

DESIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent.
Experience with any of the following: Scala/Python/Java/C#/C++
Good understanding of software quality assurance concepts, debugging processes and procedures.
Experience with the development and testing of large-scale distributed systems.
Experience with cloud based technologies (Amazon EC2, Kubernetes, Apache Mesos, etc) and familiar with microservices oriented architectures.
Familiar with Unix environment and command line interfaces.
Familiar with software versioning systems and CI/CD pipelines and tools to implement them (Jenkins, git, GitLab, Perforce are among the ones we use).
Ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders.
Strong ability to self-manage and prioritize work effectively within deadlines.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible – able to adapt plans and react to change.
Resourceful and innovative – identify issues and implement solutions, as required.
Familiar with stress testing high performance and high availability distributed systems.
