We are looking for you who is an experienced Software engineer/scientist who enjoys complex problem solving combined with real hands-on Embedded Software development (C++) in Linux platform.
You will be a part of an agile development team.Our section, Autonomous Continuous Integration platform, is responsible for providing an efficient platform, CI, tools and services for all ATS development teams. One of the areas we are working with is Data logging. The huge amount of data coming from LIDAR, cameras and other sensors need to be recorded and post processed in autonomous vehicles. There are challenges in the log system we are using today and we need to have great opportunity to plan and then develop a new logging system which will meet the upcoming demands which will include Big data handling, Machine Learning and AI.
Assignment
You will be a part of our expanding agile logging development team. Together you and the team will be responsible for providing an efficient logging solution that corresponds to the Scania demands and needs. The logging system will consist both of an onboard (hardware and software) part and offboard (software) part including a cloud solution. This position will give you considerable responsibility and you will be able to steer and control your day-to-day work together within or outside your team.
As a Senior Software Developer for the logging system you will be responsible for:
• Implementation, verification and maintenance of logging system from cameras, lidar and different sensors in C++ and Linux development environment.
• The big data which is stored needs to be anonymised.
• Support Group manager and Product owner in setting up plan for handling big data and usages of machine learning and AI.
Your profile
You believe in an agile culture and are used to work in an agile environment. You have a M.Sc or Bachelor degree in relevant area and we expect you to have several years of experience in Software development of complex systems and experience in handling big data, AI, Machine Learning and an interest in hardware. You have the ability to understand complex systems and to communicate the field of work in a clear and easy understandable way.
As a person you are enthusiastic, solution oriented, structured and enjoy working with colleagues in your near organisation as well as with other parts of the company or with external partners. You believe in dialogue to be the way forward and strive for solutions with high quality.
