UI Artist Toca Life

Toca Boca captures the spirit of play. We create digital toys that are filled with fun and silliness that kids from any corner of the world can instantly relate to. Everything is designed from their perspective. We celebrate the diversity and quirkiness of their world and give them the freedom to play in ways that only they can dream up.
In order to be able to create more world-class digital toys, we're currently looking for a UI artist for our Toca Life: World team in Stockholm.
Role description:
As a UI artist in the Toca Life team your focus will be on creating a high quality user interface that works throughout the Toca Life apps. You will need to follow brand guidelines in order to build a UI that is on-brand for Toca Life. An important part of the role is also to communicate with the right stakeholders and anchor your design choices through dialogue with them. We aim to create a world that often has some sort of quirky or silly twists. Building a UI that can convey some of that humour while also being easy to understand and accessible to our users is what will make you successful in the role.
We are looking for a UI artist who:
Love toys and games.
Has created UI graphics for mobile games.
Has Unity experience.
Has experience with Illustrator.
Is curious and takes pride in your work.
Is fluent in written and spoken English.

What you will be doing:
Produce high-quality UI assets for the app.
Collaborate with team members and other artists to develop the visual style and quality of graphical assets.
Ensure together with the team members and stakeholders that the UI design fits visually with the overall project goals.

We work in small teams of 6–10 people, which means everyone is an important contributor in the project and has a shared responsibility for what the toy becomes.

This position is full time and based in our Stockholm office. We apply 6 months probationary employment.
