Position description
The position is going to be part of the Federated Choreography of an Integrated Embedded Systems Software Architecture (FIESTA), within the sub-project Distributed Control of Interconnected Systems (DisCo).

The project will focus on the distributed control of cyber-physical systems, that exchange information via a communication network, e.g., vehicle-to-vehicle communication for automated driving. The objective is to design techniques and methodologies for the choreography of different agents in the system in a scalable way.
The project will require the interaction with companies like ABB Robotics.

The position is a temporary employment of 2 years.

Qualifications requirements

• PhD in Computer Science or equivalent, not older than 3 years.
• Fluent in English, both written and in conversation.
• Good knowledge of control theory and mathematical optimization.
• Good publication record, and ability to conduct collaborative cross-disciplinary research.

Merit

• Experience in robotics and multi-robot systems.
• Experience with Matlab.
• Experience with optimization tools, e.g., CPLEX, CVX, or similar.
