Senior Software Engineer

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) the Senior Software Engineer is an integral part of the development process in Mitigram. The position requires collaboration with the test and product management teams and other members of the development team in order to ensure that development goals are reached in the planned time frame with exceptional quality. 

Responsibilities
Design, code, and ship high-quality applications and services
Work with program management to contribute to new feature definitions
Design, code and deliver backend functionality, primarily using C# the .NET framework
Drive a high-quality bar in terms of code quality, unit testing, daily builds and automated runtime monitoring & alerts
Implementation of development methodology and tools

Required skills and experience
Application development for at least 7 years in .Net (preferably C#)
At least 3 years experience of Javacript
Usage of SQL in daily work for at least 3 years
Good understanding of the SOLID principles and how to apply them in daily work
Good understanding of software patterns and how to apply them in daily work
Understanding of the importance of automated tests and how to write unit tests and integration tests
Knowledge of domain driven development principles and understanding of the importance of constraining complexity in large systems
Experience with messages queues such as RabbitMQ or MSMQ
