Design assistant Matti Klenell Studio

Matti Klenell Studio is looking for a design assistant to become part of its studio in Stockholm, Sweden.
Due to long lasting projects in Asia we are looking for a designer with strong design and engineering skills that speaks fluent Chinese and English. You should have the ability to produce proper design visualisations in form of scetching, modelling, graphic design, technical drawings and 1:1 scale prototyping. You should be passionate and reflective about the contemporary design industry in general and the Asian market in particular.
Main Work Assignments:
-Both assist and be responsible in 3D modeling, visualization and prototyping work.
-Implement and execute design concept together with our team.
-Handle and assist in supplier and client visits.
-Handle and assist in office administration.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Must have a BA or MFA in Industrial Design.
-Experience in design works, minimum 1-2 years in similar industry.
-Self running and skilled in Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keyshot and other design tools. Advanced skills in model making through digital 3d printing is a plus.
-A solid foundation in design know-how, a good knowledge of the possibilities and limitations of manufacturing materials and processes, including costs and added value is necessary.
-Design and product awareness from an overall perspective with an ability to perform research, design analysis and come up with design strategy independently. Able to apply strategy into design process.
