AI Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer

This position is a good opportunity for an experienced data scientist, passionate for AI and machine learning, and with interest to develop in a consultant role.

At Explipro you will have the opportunity to work with different industries and customers and learn new technologies. 

You will work with development of machine learning models and AI proof of concepts for increasing efficiency of existing applications and processes, as well as new and innovative services and creative ways of putting data science into practice.

The projects can be related to e.g. engineering in product development, finance or any areas of BI. We want our consultants to focus on creating real value, with a practical approach, to show our clients and their users the power of using AI and machine learning.

As an Explipro consultant you will be a part of a team with other data scientists, engineers and developers. You will be involved on site working directly with our customers in their projects and processes. We also want you to have an exchange with your Explipro colleagues to strengthen the competence of yourself, the team and Explipro within this area.

To work in this position means a lot of responsibility and cooperation with other colleagues with other roles in the customer organization.  It is expected that you carry and develop a technical understanding for the actual area, but also a wider perspective and understanding of the customer products and processes. As a consultant at Explipro you act businesslike with the customer in focus and you work in different environments, in teams as well as on your own.

About you

We are looking for you who have a personal drive an ability to simplify complex problems, but also to simplify the communication with people to gain a good relation. You are helpful and have the ability to listen. 

You fulfill the following requirements:
- A higher education within mathematics, engineering, statistics and/or IT.
- At least 2 years of professional working experience in data science and machine learning, preferably in creating industrial end-to-end AI solutions. 
- Strong skills in Python and R
- Strong analytical AND communicative skills
- Structured and comfortable in presenting result and good at explaining to people less initiated in the area.
- English in speaking and writing

Some years of professional experience in different areas is a merit as it helps you to understand the customers, problems and challenges in the industry and on the business side.
