Quality Assurance engineer

As part of an agile scrum team, the technical tester will be central in delivering high quality software. The Test Engineer will own, drive and execute all testing tasks within the STLC for software development. You will be a part of our technology team involved in designing and building HR-system application.

Responsibilities:

• Working with product management, product engineering, and development teams to design, implement, and test new products and features
• Sets up, builds continuous integration of automated tests for regression testing in a continuous delivery environment.
• Produce high quality functionality as part of sprint testing
• Ensure the quality of all parts of system released are to a standard agreed and accepted by product owner
• Actively contribute and drive the on-going improvement of the testing process, test automation, knowledge, quality and best practice.
• Maintain good visibility and communication of all activities with product owner.
• Ensure key issues detected are appropriately documented, flagged, communicated and handed over to the appropriate function to resolve in a timely manner.
• Support releases into all environments including development, prerelease and production.

Requirements:

• Strong software testing experience and good awareness of concepts. 3+ years of testing of web projects
• Functional and non-function testing experience (e.g. smoke, integration, regression, security, performance, UAT)
• Experience of technical testing (e.g. reading logs, SQL, XML, Fiddler)
• Experience of Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver and BDD
• How to produce key test artifacts (requirements gathering, test plans, reports, scripts)
• Experience of Jira (defect reporting and Agile management)
• Multiple device testing (PC, Mobile, Tablet)
• Cross browser testing (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)
• Agile Experience
• Upper-intermediate English spoken and written. Our development team members are located in different countries and we use English as the main language in all communications.
• Upper-intermediate Russian spoken and written. Many of our developers and QA engineers are Russian speaking and you will be in contact with them on a daily basis.
