Business Analyst Product Development Analytics
SA Data & Analytics within Ericsson Group IT provides a wide range of analytics services and solutions supporting functional areas and key Ericsson initiatives with business insights through analytics. D&A works to evolve Ericsson's analytics capabilities over time by securing the foundation of people, processes, information and technology needed to take care of tomorrows analytics requirements.
To move Ericsson towards becoming an analytics driven company, D&A further drives the Analytics Community to share best practices, provide training, competence and career development. 
 
About the position:
To provide insight and advice based on thorough and methodical investigation, analysis, and presentation of data. The Business Analytics Specialist applies his/her business knowledge and analytics skills on data, to point to statistically secured conclusions on business performance. He/she works as an advisor to decision makers, to outline both causes and remedies to business problems. Provides functional process and data expertise.
 
Responsibilities & Tasks:
You will Engage with stakeholders and users mainly in the RnD organizations and Group Function Technology to understand their needs and questions to be answered. You will be a Partner with Data Innovation Lab when it is suitable to use machine learning and AI technologies.
You will Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and decision makers to develop success criteria and optimize new processes, products, features, policies, and models.
You will also:
Collaborate with product development teams to industrialize the findings.
Communicate key results to senior management in verbal, visual, and written media.
Engage with external ecosystem (academia, technology leaders, open source etc.) to develop the skills and technology portfolio for analytics.

 
Qualifications:
To succeed in this position you have BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or related field; Certifying MOOCs can be compliment.
You have Business Understanding, Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration Skills. Further on you are Delivering result & meet customer expectations. 
Being able to convey messages and conclusions through graphs, reports and dashboards is a very important part of the role and hence certified training and experience in Visualization and Usability is a core part of the successful applicant’s portfolio.
Experience in programming or scripting to enable ETL development and relational databases.
Current infrastructure used is Hadoop, MS SQL and Tableau so strong skills in these environments is preferred, but also the ability to acquire skills in modern Cloud Native environments.
Since the main context of the Business Analyst role is software development and RnD it is very important to have practical experience from structured software development in larger organizations, including:
System studies practices
Agile/Scrum processes and team work
Continuous Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Configuration Management, version control (Git)
Validation, testing and automated testing
