Product/UX designer to world leading search engine in Stockholm

Do you want to join a team of IT professionals at a world leading search engine? We are looking for a Product/UX designer for our client, located in Stockholm! This is a consultancy assignment for 9 months and the desired start date is asap.

About the role

As a UX designer on the Meeting Solutions team you are passionate about how people collaborate and create together. At this important point in the team´s development you are focused on creating the next phase of service and software designs that longterm will evolve how millions of people come together to solve many world challenges.

Examples of work tasks in the role are; system-, service-, and feature design, journey mapping, sketching, wireframing, and prototyping. You will join a friendly and talented team in a safe place to develop and grow.

Responsibilities:

- Evolve and invent new features for the comapany as part of the team that creates service, software and hardware solutions for the workplace.
- Work alongside the Meet PM and ENG team and designers across Meet in Kirkland, New York and Stockholm.
- Communicate user experience at various stages of the design process by using wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or high fidelity prototypes.
- Assess the usability of new and existing products, and make constructive suggestions for change.
- Advocate design excellence by focusing on user needs and design consistency.

You have an overall interest in building good strong collaborative relationships within your team and across disciplines!

Skills/Experience/Education

- Programs: Mandatorysketch, Adobe suite, Figma.
- BA or RBA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS) or a few years of related practical experience.
- Industry experience as Interaction designer
- Able to take a broad view on complex and novel design space.
- Strong system design thinking skills and ability to create new patterns that solve how people collaborate.
- Familiarity with user research methods or experience working closely with researchers.
- Fluent in spoken and written english

Bonus Experience

- Prototyping skills
- Real Time Communication (RTC) product experience
- Design for Video and Collaboration
