Product Owner - Web

Star Stable is currently looking for a senior-level Product Owner (PO) with a history of web funnel and customer journey management with consumer products to be a part of our expanding team and portfolio. We have an exciting project which could be perfect for someone with this profile!

A PO at Star Stable is a key leader in the business as they are responsible for maximizing the value of the product they have ownership over. The PO belongs to mission team(s) which can deliver items that they prioritize in the backlog, but they must also coordinate according to any dependencies in the company or any current program level initiatives. The PO will work with their team to determine the best way to structure and deliver based on the complexity of the problems they are solving in the product.

In this role you will work closely with the marketing, product and technology teams to deliver product vision, strategy and business goals. This means that you will break down work for optimal player / product value, and prioritize and maintain the team’s backlog. You will work closely with all stakeholders in understanding the business and customer needs, evaluating business cases, tools and capabilities and monitoring and measuring the progress of the product / experience.

As a Product Owner at Star Stable you:

- Collaboratively define vision and strategy for managing the player journey for Star Stable Online service through web and client touchpoints
- Ensure visibility across the company by communicating planned and ongoing work, and the outcomes
- Have the mandate and responsibility to build/assess business cases and prioritize initiatives or solutions in a backlog based on business objectives and strategies
- Take higher level goals to the team and together figure out deliverables aligned with business strategy
- Are responsible for planning and coordination with the team to determine how to structure and deliver
- Structure crossteam/department work with stakeholders, ensuring communication and coordination
- Prioritize and plan for delivery and address emergent needs
- Are responsible for outcomes and ensure they are tracked and measured
- Are responsible for evaluating the tools and capabilities needed to deliver on business strategy and vision in support of key stakeholders

We are looking for someone who:

- Has experience (5+ years) in product ownership / product management / program management
- Is an excellent communicator with strong people leadership skills as you will be managing stakeholders and the team
- Has preferably worked with games as a service, in a subscription service or with an online storefront as a product manager
- Has experience with sales funnel or customer journey management and optimization working with enterprise analytics and experimentation frameworks and tools
- Advocates agile values and principles and has the ability to navigate technical complexity
- Has strong commercial acumen combined with creative problem solving
- Is comfortable evaluating and recommending web based tools analytics, testing, tag management, CMS and SEO
