We are now looking for Data Scientist.

Description

You will be part of the Chapter Controls Engineering & Artificial Intelligence, which is one of five competence areas within the Software Tribe. Our focus is to develop embedded vehicle software solutions for vehicle motion control, thermal and climate control, comfort control, battery management control and self-driving capabilities. We are also supporting this development with data analytics and strategies for data management.

We are now looking for experienced and innovative data scientist, engineers and/or statisticians that can join our ambition to build a competent data analytics team. A team that can support our development teams in understanding available data using statistics and AI algorithms. This team is also part of developing our data management strategies so that we are prepared for a world of Autonomous Vehicles and Mobility as a Service.

You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus, you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.    

We will ensure that you will have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges!

The role involves:

- Algorithm development
- Big data analysis
- Statistical modelling
- Data wrangling
- Stastistical simulation
- Data visualization
- Requirement analysis
- Collaboration with NEVS engineers at different departments and locations

 

We are looking for someone who has:

- Master of Science or higher degree, or similar university degree
- Good mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of machine learning techniques
- Experience in Python, R or other programming languages and software used for data analytics
- Experience in working with and creating data architectures
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to share her or his expertise to colleagues
- Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
- Driver license for vehicle
