We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer and co-founder. We believe that you want to take ownership and will commit long-term to the development of our technology.

As CTO and co-founder, your mission is to take aiten healths’ products global with your expertise and drive. We are looking for a CTO who reflects and models our values of entrepreneurship and wants to create a positive change for people with chronic disease.

The opportunity for you

With aiten health you will be doing meaningful work. You will develop our technical architecture, realizing it in iterations with a future team that you will build. As long as you are committed to the vision of the company, we are open to discuss the amount of time you initially spend on the task. 

Like the other founders, you work in both strategy and hands-on execution. We are a team of strategic doers and with you being an experienced full-stack developer, you know that execution is strategy.

aiten health is the next big wave in digital health solutions. You want to be part of setting off this new wave, technology placing clients firmly in the driver’s seat in managing their chronic disease. The very first area of disease we are approaching is hypertension. We want to become the new headspace and help clients lower their blood pressure and reduce the risk of getting cardiac infarction or stroke in the future.

Candidate profile

Your areas of focus are coding excellence, system architecture and data analytics. A background in computer and data science is a strong bonus but not a requirement. We do expect you to attract the future tech team and to lead the development team that you need to execute our strategy. You will lead, but also take part in the programming and design of our architecture going forward. Your profile, therefore, sets you apart.

What you will be doing:

• Act as the head of development - working closely with our remote developers and with the founding team.
• Build new features and functionalities to help our users break habits and make a positive change for well-being.
• Build a scalable platform.
• Build our future data-architecture to collect and use behavioral data to support building healthy habits.

Who are you?

As a person, self-development and working as a team are important to you. You are a self-starter with a critical and analytical mindset, a problem-solver by nature. You get things done in a timely matter with a large degree of autonomy. 

You have:

• Experience of being lead-architect or lead-developer.
• A holistic view of the company’s objectives and always keeps the task on track.
• Both frontend (Angular) and backend experience.
• Experience working with continuous deployment and integration.
• Experience in AWS (API Gateway, Cognito, Node, DynamoDB).

It is a plus if you have startup experience either as an early-team member or as a founder and an innovative and data-driven mindset.
