Quinyx is the market leader in SaaS Workforce Management. We are a fast-growing tech-company that enables customers to schedule, report time and dynamically forecast optimal labor costs against sales, while maintaining a smiling workforce.

We are looking for an experienced software developer to join our fantastic team building the next generation of the Quinyx WFM solution. The backend is built on Java 11 using Spring framework and is naturally evolving at a rapid pace so we expect you to enjoy keeping up with new trends within the community; while also valuing our long term goals of the platform.

Your role at Quinyx!
You will have your base in Stockholm and be part of an agile distributed team with highly competent, versatile and diverse colleagues. The team enjoys an autonomous way of working and continuously strives to improve its own processes, tooling options and skills.

The platform, built on the latest technologies is expected to be fast, modularized and backed with a high degree of test-coverage and automation. Enabling effortless development and - both technical as well as product - adaptability.

What you will do
- Implement the next generation of Quinyx’s platform and applications
- Work efficiently across different teams in order to create an excellent product experience
- Participate in design, architecture and code reviews
- Take full ownership of your own and your team deliveries - from design, implementation to deployment
- Identify, discuss and communicate best practices for software engineering

Your skill set
- Extensive knowledge in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, MySQL and REST/HTTP standards
- Experience working with high volume systems and in optimizing all layers of a system
- A solid understanding of clean code and code quality
- Relevant experience with Git, Jenkins CI or similar
- Preferably experienced with microservice architecture
- Aware of and interested in asynchronous/reactive systems
- Minimum 7 years working experience with a couple of work samples to demonstrate your skills
- Excellent English, both spoken and written

You like to work in a highly independent cross functional team with a never ending drive to deliver great software with special focus on performance, maintainability and usability. You do this by understanding our users needs, use a test driven approach and share knowledge with your team members.
