In Skellefteå, we’re developing our hardware to our LiDAR system and we’re specialized within opto-mechanics, mechanics and electronics. To our aid we also have a modern and fully equipped testing facility.

What you'll do?
In this position you will work with software development in the Engineering Validation Test team. You will develop software for the test setups where we test that our LiDAR systems fulfills all the requirements specified. You will work closely together with test engineers, software testers and test operators in Skellefteå as well as software developers in Stockholm.

To test all requirements, different external hardware is needed to specify for example angles, temperature and light conditions, and you will develop software that will handle all of these external data and control interfaces.

At Veoneer, the teams work agile in project form and you will be part of a social and competent test team.

What you'll bring:
To succeed in this position, you need to have:

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar experience
- At least two year's working experience in similar role
- Experience in working with interfaces towards external hardware
- Experience in visualization and presentation of data
- Experience in Python
- Experience in Git
- Knowledge in C++
- Working proficiency in English

If you also have experience in data science or signal processing it will be considered a merit.
