About the job We are looking for a Software Engineer to one of the teams, which will focus on the Business-critical operational requirement supporting the implementations from our Trading and Capital Markets business and Governance of our LC&I Data warehouse.
LC& I, BI Value Stream encompasses common, cross-asset processes to support business areas within LC&I with business intelligence and master data as well as performing management-, regulatory- and operational reporting.
The BI domain includes master data management of market and reference data, data warehousing, external and internal reporting, new technologies and methods in data visualization and analytics (Data Lake and AI) supporting LC&Is product offering as well as other Swedbank Business Areas, Group functions, Subsidiaries and the Savings Banks.

As a Software Engineer in a Cross functional agile team you are the key member in the team with the primary responsibility for analyzing compliance and business requirements and developing new functionality to enable business initiatives relating to the usage and analysis of LC&I data in a sustainable way. As a team member you will actively contribute and help drive the team goals and strategy for development and maintenance of our infrastructure. Main Investment Areas in the Team include: FOBO (the new Front office back office system for LC&I Markets business), Maintain MIA database, Microstrategy and supporting numerous stakeholders across the bank and ensuring Governance/ Operations of the LC&I Data warehouse and reporting solution.

Activities within the team are for example:

Provide technical expertise in strategic approach with BI Architects to align with Group Swedbank Architecture end state.
Have a passion to use new technology to continuously improve (Robotics, Datalake, AI)
Implement development changes in MIA reporting Database
Driving Microstrategy to be the primary reporting tool in LC&I
Ensure streamlined efficient daily operational processes with regards to ETL of LC&I Data downstream
Deliver features to facilitate BO BONds and BO FX go live.
Be an active member in the SAFE Agile team continuously improving agile ways of working
Help guide other members in the team to achieving both development features and operational targets
What you need to succeed We believe that you have a genuine interest in improving and creating code wherever it exists!
You need to have good knowledge regarding Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
Experience of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Knowledge regarding C# and .NET-ramwork/framework.
You need to have experience of SQL Server Management Studio Visual Studio.
Understanding of version management and sync between different environments (dev, test, kval, prod). - It is an advantage if you have experience of tool TFS and GIT.
Basic knowledge in Data Vault. – Be able to see the difference between hubb-, link-, satellite- and dimensions table.
A desire to work in an AGILE delivery model
You need to be a team player and enjoy problem solving together with your colleagues. We also believe you have good communication skills, enjoy representing the bank in discussions with external parties and representing the team in discussions internally in the bank.
