Our team New Business is responsible for the evaluation of new business ideas both from a technical and commercial perspective, but also to drive the product and solution development in the areas we decide to aim for.

Our team Network Door Stations & New Initiatives at New Business R&D develops the firmware for our very successful Network Door Stations. The products are used for two-way communication, identification and remote entry control. The team consists of highly skilled software engineers. We work in the entire software stack except web, and there are great possibilities to focus on what motivates you. We work in close cooperation with the electronics and mechanical engineers, quality assurance, and the application development team. You will be involved in all phases of development - from innovation/first ideas, all the way through design and implementation until the final release to the market. The team is highly involved in functionality and technology choices together with our Product Manager. You will also have the possibility to influence how we work.

Within the team we have a good mix of people, from newly graduates to engineers that have worked for 20+ years. We have a very close cooperation and good team spirit, enjoying for example morning fika together every morning.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who want to enjoy going to work!

You are passionate about technology, innovation and keep yourself updated. You find it equally important with clean and safe code, as a nice user experience. You enjoy freedom and personal responsibility, and you love a challenge.

We believe you have a bachelor or master’s degree in relevant area, and development experience in Linux User Space using C or C++.

We believe you are curious, pro-active and like to take initiatives to create a productive working environment and solutions/products we can be proud of. Communication at Axis is important, so we know you enjoy networking and talking to others.
