This is what we do
At Core System Platform we are building a computer-in-the-car architecture - key for enabling innovation within areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning and autonomous drive. Our mission is to create a Vehicle Control Unit platform using new technologies like drive OS and NVidia’s latest chip technology in combination with more traditional car signaling technologies. We are dedicated to delivering platform functions simplifying application development to create a safe, reliable and secure platform solution within Volvo Cars for increased innovation and speed.

What you will do
Together with your Team you will be developing our test framework. The framework will be a key enabler for increasing the speed and quality of the software deliveries in the cutting edge software environment of a modern car. You will be supporting the development teams in way of using the framework as well as providing guidelines for it. The Team will also work close to our test architect to identify ideas for improvement of our test flow.

We want to work together with you who have a keen interest in embedded SW development and test techniques used in modern development as well as a passion for creating a stable test environment and supporting our developers using our framework. You have strong customer focus, enjoys the possibility to influence and you love to be part of a team where we take own initiatives and take pride in your own and the team’s deliveries.

You and your skills
We expect you have experience from working in a modern SW development environment with a highly automated test framework and continuous integration.
To be successful in this job we believe that you have experience from developing a test framework including evolving, maintaining and do in-depth troubleshooting on both the product and the framework. You shall also enjoy supporting and educating others in using our test framework. 
Competence in Python scripting, Robot framework, C/C++ and functional safety/ISO26262 we consider meriting.
