We are looking for a Tech Lead to grow our Embedded Solution offer at Semcon, placement at the Semcon headquarter in Gothenburg, Lindholmen.
Here you will be given the opportunity to build our Embedded Solution offer together with colleagues for our customers ranging from small startups to the global companies. We will be proud to call you an expert within the team of embedded developers, developing embedded solutions based upon human behavior.
The challenge
Our challenge is to advice and support our customers with new technology within automotive, defense, industry and medtech in an ever changing world. Important paradigms such as Connectivity, Electrification, Automatisation, AI etc. puts new demands on our customer’s products. Semcon has an offer, Embedded Solutions, which includes experience from developing a whole product with GUI, HW, SW, Sensors, Actuator’s, Power, Mechanics etc.
The Solutions is often on the technical edge. Our consultants have competence to develop such solutions. We also have other competences to develop connectivity, cloud, web, apps, PC applications etc.
Now we need a Tech Lead to further develop our Embedded Solutions offer regarding building competence, participate with technical skills at sales.
Who we think that you are
You probably have a MSc from an university, for example E, D or F. Your experience is important due to the complexity of the systems, which is why we believe that you have at least 5 years work experience working with micro controllers, real time systems, embedded LINUX etc.
About you
You feel that some of the statements below describes your skills and interests:
- You are passionate about Embedded and Intelligent systems
- You have strong skills in C / C++
- You know how to work with troubleshooting and debuggers for Embedded systems
- You are comfortable using microcontrollers and embedded processor platforms
- Leader skills
It’s a merit if you have any of the below skills or interests
- You enjoy System architecture, Safety critical systems, Power Management
- You are interested in Wireless communication such as 3G/4G, Bluetooth and Wifi
- You have experience using Agile methodologies, example: Scrum, Test driven development and CI - continuous integration
We also belive
- You both speak and write Swedish and English fluently
- Have a driver license
