Physicist - System developer

We are offering a fulltime position as a Physicist to join our Physics Department in our modern and thriving organization. The Position
The physics group is responsible for physics algorithms, at present for photon, electron, proton and carbon treatments. As a physicist you will participate in all steps of the development process including physics analysis, software design, implementation, and testing. The physics algorithms are implemented in C++ and C#. Analysis is usually performed in Python or MATLAB. Members of the physics group at RaySearch also interact directly with customers and partners and are sometimes involved in the more complex sales processes.

Qualifications and Profile
You have a degree from a Masters program such as Engineering Physics, with results and selected courses demonstrating a deep physics knowledge.
You have experience from object oriented programming. Computer knowledge, programming background and interest is more important than the specific language you have used so far.
You have analytic skill, an ability to not only answer but to ask the right questions and to work in a goal-oriented way. You are creative, able to see what is important in a physics problem and what is not and to communicate your results.
Experience of the development processes in the medical technology industry is considered an extra merit.
