What we do at Detectify
Detectify was born from the simple idea that the internet is broken. Our founders are some of the best ethical hackers out there. Between them, they have hacked some of the biggest tech companies in the world and now they are sharing their knowledge as part of our tech teams. The knowledge they accumulated from ethical hacking turned into an application security tool that automates hacker-attacks.

Today, in addition to our internal research, we collaborate with a global group of handpicked white-hat hackers to gather security tests. Our tool is trusted and used by some of the most widely known companies such as Spotify, Trello, and King. Based in central Stockholm, Sweden, we are currently a team of 75 employees and growing quickly.

The Core Team
The core team is responsible for everything from architecture to testing and implementation of the core product; the scanner, as well as other components like our web crawler, API, fingerprinting function and integrations. Our team guarantees our customers the best scanning performance possible, along with fingerprinting accuracy, crawling efficiency and a broad vulnerability scope.

The tech stack that the team is working with includes:

- Go, .NET, Java, Python
- RabbitMQ
- AWS (RDS, S3, EC2, Glue, Athena, Firehose, Kubernetes)
- Elasticsearch

Today the team consists of 7 developers including a team lead and are continuously growing. We work with pair programming and follow Agile and DevOps principles. The team plans rolling releases with continuous integration.

What you'll get to do
You will develop and improve both existing and new components related to our core product. You will also get to be involved in architectural decisions and help to coach and mentor more junior developers. You will belong to a self-managed team and be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle. We want to scale up to scan 100-fold from today.

As a developer in our team you will get to:

- Contribute to our architecture
- Help set the guidelines for how the growing core team should be organised and function
- Actively work with other teams and roles to give and receive input on the product
- Contribute to the team through sharing knowledge and feedback
- Work closely with our security researchers who are top-ranked white hat hackers

Who you are
You set and achieve your own ambitious goals and like to solve complicated technical problems with a team full of creative problem solvers. You think it is meaningful to continuously evaluate and reflect on your own solutions and seek outside recommendations to improve.

You come from a background where you are used to working with load-heavy backend applications such as:

- Message queues
- Streaming data
- Microservices

You have knowledge in either Go, Java or .NET, and have experience scaling up a SaaS product.
