Python Developer for CI team

At Integration & Tools our mission is to establish an integration and verification environment that enables continuous integration, thus reducing lead time-to-market and increasing product quality. Our great and experience team of five people are responsible for the continuous integration of all internally-developed software and the tool chain at Vehicle Connectivity in Volvo Group Trucks Technology.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Keep track of needs from the agile release train
Improve performance of the CI machinery
Reduce manual steps in the building process
Produce good ways to monitor quality
Keep build environment up and running
Work together with tools teams to enhance the tool support
Train and support development teams in use of building tools

WHO ARE YOU?

We believe that you are a passionate developer with an agile approach having a big interest for Continuous Integration. To be successful in this position we believe you have at least three years of experience within software development. You have been working with object-oriented programming network programming (Socket over UDP, TCP), and protocols for several years.

The following are considered as important merits: 
Docker / Linux
SQL Databases
Tools for visualization (html/css/JavaScript)
Jenkins
Artifactory
Yocto
Experience in testing embedded systems (unit testing, component testing, etc.)
Experience in test automation is a big advantage
Experience from agile product development using the SAFe framework
Experience in automotive industry or related area
