About this role
Irisity’s systems detect suspicious activity in security cameras using video analytics powered by machine learning. The system uses a cloud-based architecture, connecting globally distributed cameras, computing hardware, operator environments and management interfaces. As a front-end developer at Irisity, you will participate in the design and development of user interfaces for all parts of our system. This includes systems used by alarm central operators, system administrators, technical support staff and other user categories. You will work closely together with both UX designers, back-end developers and machine learning researchers, making sure that our entire system is coherent, stable and easy to use.
Our R&D department consists of tight agile teams, where most people contribute in several parts of the system. The main focus of this role is on web development using JavaScript/TypeScript using Angular and React, but depending on your personal interests, this role may also involve everything from full-stack C# development, system architecture and cloud infrastructure design to machine learning data management. For more senior candidates, this position may evolve into including a more strategic overall responsibility of all future front-end matters within our R&D department.
Who we think you are
To be successful in this role, we believe that you to have a BSc or MSc in software engineering or related areas. We also expect at least 3 years of experience with modern web technologies, together with some experience from software development outside the front-end area. You will be located at our main office in Göteborg, as part of a team with a lot of energy and a strong community.
Great skills in the English language is a requirement and good Swedish skills is an advantage.
