Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

You will together with developers, architects and safety managers define an efficient way of working with safety related issues in our day to day software development of support systems and the continuous integration pipeline for autonomous vehicles. Our section is responsible for base software, development environment, tool chains and development as well as logging of our autonomous vehicles.

Your profile
You have a genuine interest in technical problem solving and have experience in developing safety critical systems. You are interested in the complexity of safety in our systems and would enjoy the challenge of understanding and implementing way of working for all developers.

To succeed in this role are a team player who values the strategic thinking and have the ability to see and understand the details and have a talent for networking.

You are self-going, structured and pragmatic.

Your qualifications
Relevant bachelor or masters’ degree

Knowledge and experience in designing the Safety critical SW architecture and implementation in C++ using ISO26262 and/or IEC61508

Experience in developing and maintaining the SW development environment in CMake, Python, GIT, GitLab or similar.

Able to do hands-on programming when needed in the teams.

Skilled in technical documentation – understanding and transfer knowledge to others
