Are you interested in new challenges and in winning an Eye Tracker?! Are you a seasoned .Net developer with a passion for products, code, architecture and quality? We are looking for someone who is as passionate about programming as we are and has the competence and drive to back it up. You will get the chance to join our talented scrum team here at Tobii and work together with some of the sharpest minds out there in a company that has a lot of exciting projects ahead. You will be part of a scrum team that assumes full responsibility for a product.

Your work will include a variety of different tasks:                           

  • Developing application desktop software in .NET and C#.
  • Writing code and UI for our WPF based windows applications (mainly C#, but also some C/C++).
  • Writing unit tests before during and after writing production code.
  • Communicating with stake holders and other teams working on or near your product.
  • Making sure the product can be transformed from source code to a downloadable installer, making use of our excellent build infrastructure.

We believe that you have:

  • Excellent knowledge with at least 3 years of previous experience from working professionally with .NET and C#.
  • A master/bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • A working knowledge on how to use git, gitflow, planning systems, bug tracking systems, code review tools.
  • An understanding of how to actually deliver quality code to demanding customers.
  • Thought about the essence of software architecture, patterns, code quality, collaboration challenges and development processes.
  • As a person you are easygoing. Someone who loves embracing new technology and using it in new innovative products.

We wish that you have:

  • Experience of working with test driven development (TDD), scrum.
  • Experience in working with WPF.
  • Work experience from within a product company.
  • Participated in open source projects or written some really cool applications or phone apps.
  • Knowledge about other platforms (Linux, Android) and a handful of languages (F#, python, C, C++, ruby, Haskell, java script) and feel confident to explain when and why to use what.
