We are DICE
DICE (EA Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment), the award-winning studio based in Stockholm, Sweden, is best known for creating the phenomenally successful Battlefield franchise, the Battlefront franchise, and the innovative game Mirror’s Edge.

We work through our 4 guiding values: Passion with Purpose, Creative Innovation, Everything Quality, and One Community. We recognise that our people are the backbone and driving force to our creative products. As such, we are dedicated in providing everyone the ability to express, learn, and be their very best with a common cause.
We are looking for an engineer with a strong interest and experience in game AI. You have the drive to keep up to date with what is happening in the field of game AI, academic AI and computer games in general. When it comes to your technical skills we believe you have a proven track record of developing and shipping games, working on the development of AI on those titles. Experience with creating FPS single player experiences is a possible background you may have, but we are open to you having a different set of experiences as long as you are passionate about applying your skills to making AI in future DICE games the best it can be.
You are a team player. We want each team member to be part of building the team. You are an open and curious engineer and you get a kick out of working closely with your team leader and more junior team members. You also enjoy getting designer feedback and seeing your features being the building blocks of the best games in the world.
Desired Skills
Experience from implementing AI decision making in different ways, for instance through behaviour trees, utility systems or planning.
Experience: 3+ years of games industry (or other relevant) experience, shipped at least 1 title working within the field of game AI.
Extensive knowledge of the different parts that make up game AI and how these parts relate to academic AI.
Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or equivalent experience
Extensive C++ knowledge, scalable data-driven design.
Strong interest/experience in creating reusable, modular AI systems.
Strong collaboration and communication skill.

What’s in it for you? Glad you asked!
