Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will work with the inhouse developed software in our customer projects.
You will be responsible for the following:
Global support to customer projects
Coordination, production and documentation of all technical activities in assigned service contracts or warranty contracts
Software testing
Setting up and commissioning new solutions
Troubleshooting
Training our customers in our solutions 30-80 travel days/year
Our system solutions are provided to airports all over the globe. Some solutions are tailor-made for the end customers’ special needs, e.g., optimization of airport operations.
As a software engineer you will maintain and develop these software solutions. This can include minor adaptions of the system as per customer requirements, troubleshooting, interfacing with other software solutions, and assuring maximum up-time of the systems.
Qualifications
IT skills mandatory:
Knowledge of software development
Programming knowledge in C, C++, Java, Javascript or similar
Administration knowledge of network communication on TCP/IP
Administration of databases (PostgreSQL is a plus)
IT skills meritorious:
Administration knowledge of operating systems, especially Windows Server
Database programming, design and web
Knowledge of system design, architecture and network environment
Knowledge about requirements management
Administration of web components, and web services
Field communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus)
You hold a bachelor’s or master degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent. Preferably you have a couple of years of experience in system engineering, software development, project engineering but we are also interested in you who recently graduated if you have the right engagement and interest to learn to know the area.
It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently and it is advantageous if you speak Swedish and/or any other additional language.
As a person, you are driven, structured and analytic. You like problem solving, learning new things, meeting new people and adapting to new environments. For the role it is important that you enjoy working in different cultural environments and are open to new challenges.
