About the Position
We have a flexible & dynamic team of great programmers, who handles everything from hosting, backend and frontend development (both web and native Android). We are SCRUM fanatics (sprint 219 now!) and love creating disruptive software innovations with a team effort!
Appland currently have a global one track platform with 24 microservices and 9 databases running in the Amazon Web Services cloud. 
Yes, but what will I do more in detail?
You will be involved from the start in a once-per-lifetime project:
Streaming games to mobiles worldwide over 5G!
Below are some tasks you might be involved in:
Design truly global database cloud setups.
Create new global services, written in Node.JS/Javascript running on AWS Lambda.
Running, adapting and managing emulators.
Dynamically optimizing framerate, image compressions and resolution.
New features and optimizations for existing services written in PHP, Node.JS/Javascript or Scala.
Adapt and use new AWS or third party open source services as needed (no .NET)
Implement big data analyzation.

We expect you to be eager broaden your experience and learn new stuff each and every day.
Sounds amazing! What skills are needed?
3+ years of backend development (preferably NodeJS or PHP) including database design.
Worked with databases (e.g. DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, MySQL).
AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, C, Linux experience is a plus.
Experience of microservice architecture is a plus.
A genuine interest in software development and a quick learner!
