To ensure we stay ahead of our competitors and continue to build innovative and fantastic mobile casino games, which are enjoyed by over two million players so far, ELK Studios is now looking for a Game Logic Developer to join our studio in Stockholm. With your passion for programming, bits and bytes you will help us evolve our games and ensure we develop amazing mobile casino games.

The Game Logic Developer role is to build the game logic and implement the rules for the game. It includes the following key responsibilities:

Responsibilities
Implement game logic in C++
Evolve our game logic code base
Define communication interfaces between server and client
Making sure our games are efficient 
Testing and verifying the game rules, outcomes and RTP
Develop back office tools
Supporting the client development team simplifying implementation and testing

Experience and skills                                                                     
At least 3 years’ of experience in programming
Excellent knowledge of C++
Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design
Good knowledge of SQL and database programming
Creative and innovative to find solutions to achieve faster code

·      Self-driven, responsible and passionate about coding
·      Ability to tackle challenges and solve problems with a strong sense of ownership
·      Ability to work closely with many other disciplines and be a team player
Organized with the ability to deliver on deadlines
Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)
Located in Stockholm

Valuable characteristics                                                               
Solution-oriented with an innovative and creative thinking
Comfortable to work in terminal environment, familiar with common GNU tools
Knowledge of Go
Experience from Game development
