DevOps Engineer

Nordax is looking for a talented DevOps Engineer who wants to take up a challenge to create the best digital banking experience for our customers.

Your mission

In an effort of Nordax to serve for “ordinary people” through our niche financial solutions, you will be a part of our IT team that builds and runs the heart of Nordax. As a member of the Platform team under the Development Unit of the IT Department, you will be responsible for building an even more modern DevOps infrastructure. You will let yourself shine with your innovative solutions while working in a team and report directly to the Head of Development.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Designing and nurturing a brand-new DevOps platform
- Implementing new CI/CD solutions through modern technologies such as Kubernetes

You must be confident in:

- Linux
- implementing CI/CD pipelines (with e.g. Jenkins, TFS, CircleCI, Octopus or similar tools)
- implementing server orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
- deploying containers (Docker)
- programming in C# or similar language (or your will to learn C#)
- version control system using git

Big pluses if you have experience in:

- working with one of the major cloud providers (e.g. Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
- programming with .NET
- IT security
- working on monitoring and logging solutions
- taking a system administrator or similar role in IT operations
- working in the financial industry (e.g. understanding of control and regulatory perspective in change and release processes)
